A. Scott Warthin Museum of Geology & Natural History

The A. Scott Warthin Museum of Geology & Natural History is located in Ely Hall at Vassar College, within the Department of Earth Science & Geography, and is open to all groups or individuals. All display areas are wheelchair accessible via an outside ramp to the north door of Ely Hall.

9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday (When the College is in session)

Please call Lois Horst, Museum Curator, at 845-437-5540, or email at lohorst@vassar.edu, with questions or to make special arrangements for a visit. Hours are flexible with early arrangement.

School groups, Scout groups, and family outings can be accommodated and given a program suited to their interests or course of study by our museum staff. Exhibits are often changed and refreshed.
